The thing is that this is a new judge and it will be the first time the Skiles have taken a case before him. In the past, the paperwork wait has only been 2-3 weeks after the court date but then a new judge was placed who apparently wasn't as favorable toward international adoptions and paperwork took longer to arrive afterward (more like 2 months). Now that judge has been moved and yet another new judge is in place, so we don't know what to expect.
PLEASE join us all in praying that the new judge will understand that the goal is to place these children (Kaley and the others waiting) in loving families and the country in which those families live should not be an issue. The love and care of the children is the utmost matter here. Please also pray that everything follows God's timing and that we will be patient in the waiting. With all you prayer warriors covering this process with us, we truly feel blessed and humbled.

These are the babies at The Home of God's Love right now. Our Kaley is third from the left. The two in the middle are our friends' daughter Kaylee and our other friends' son, Chase.

Hey, Kim. I got our stuff back from TECO today, so the Skiles will have it by Monday. We are there praying that we all get a judge that cares about the kids! Keep us posted. Email me at zotdachs@comcast.net if I did not give you the password to the wordpress blog. We did get the couch pic. Best I can figure, they have them in age order. I love them all!
Yeah for a courtdate!!! That is a huge step!! We will pray for God's perfect will with the judge and Kaley!! God has held her in his hands this far!! I know this is such an emotional time. You remember sitting in the room at BCCC the Sunday (adoption Sunday) that I told the class about Alea's birthmom thinking about taking her back and all I could do was cry and your sister had to announce it. Everyone surrounded us at this time and God did the rest!! We will pray with purpose and trust that His desires are the same as ours!!
Yeahhh! We are praising God for this next step! You were right about the other judge (we had her), so I'm so glad you have a new judge! We will pray for you all and the court process! One step closer! We can't wait to see Kaley on this side of the ocean!
Kim, I got tears in my eyes as I read your update. So incredibly happy for you and Mike. I know how you must long to hold your beautiful daughter. I will be praying that all the obstacles will be knocked down quickly, and weeks seem like days and days like hours as you wait for the day you can bring your precious miracle home.
