Court is tomorrow!

As some of you have noticed and already commented about, our court date for Kaley is tomorrow, Wednesday! Ted (our agent there) will be before the judge at what equates to 4:45 AM in Columbia, SC.

We will be praying and waiting to hear. I certainly don't expect you all to wake that early and pray but please remember Kaley, Ted & Bev, the judge and us in your prayers today and tonight.

I'll post any news as soon as possible; hopefully Ted will be able to find out how this new judge will handle things and we'll be able to guess at a time frame. Right now we are all in the dark as to what to expect. Michael and I just continue to make preparations and pray.

We know this is all in God's timing but honestly, my stomach is a bit tight right now as we wait to hear how the court appointment goes and find out how this new judge acts. In Kaley's room there is a decoration that simply reads "Trust"...that is what we are doing now. Thank you all for trusting along with us.

More soon! Here we go, God...

Michael and Kim,

I know exactly how you feel! It is the most nervous I ever was my entire life! God has already made the match and we will trust that the match is you and Kaley. I will set my alarm and pray beginning at 4:30 a.m.!! Please update your blog or email me as soon as you know! We had many pray for us during court and it was so nice knowing others cared for us and our girls!! Praise be to God who is GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!

Thanks, Carmen. It seems so long ago that we were at BCCC for that adoption weekend. Little did we know when we were praying so hard for you, Brad and Alea that you'd be praying for our own little miracle. God truly is amazing. Thank you for your support and prayers. I'll let you all know what happened as soon as we know.

Kim,
I will be praying for you guys. Our court date is soon, so I know how you are feeling. God is good and like Carmen said, He has already made the matches. He will bring it to fruition.

Yeahhh! We'll be praying! I remember we woke up and prayed in Avery's room for our court date. Start taking TUMS now, because the butterflies only get bigger! God is so good, we can't wait until you are together!

Good morning Mike & Kim,
Mom and I set the alarm and were up praying for you - and Kaley - at 4:30. We know God is in this whole process, and we're trusting His hand at work. The minutes and hours must be so tense for you both, and we are praying for the peace that passes understanding. We're a bit tense too. Thanks for sharing the sign in her room, "Trust!" It IS more than decor isn't it! Proverbs 3:5-6 comes into play today, as it does at all those "moments" that change our lives. We're praying for all to work in HIS timing. We're confident with you that "Faithful is He who promised, and faithful is He who will bring it to pass." Just what "it" is, we do not know, but we DO know the "Faithful" part!
We love you ALL so much - and so does He!
We know that you'll let us know when you know.
So we're "sitting by the laptop and the phone!"
LOVE,
Grandpa (you know, "Dad")

Michael & Kim,
We were up praying with you at 4:30 this morning. Knowing that the judge is favorable will make the waiting easier. Kaley will be home in His time. We will keep praying!
